Terror suspects protest in Parliament Square
Over 2,000 members of al Qaeda UK marched on Parliament Square today to protest a government plan to expand terrorist detainment laws.

Members of the terrorist organisation are furious that the Government is considering extending detention time for terror suspects from 28 days to 42.

"28 days was fine, not ideal, but I could deal with it", said the group's leader Ali Salih. "But 42 days will present all sorts of problems. It usually takes us that long to construct a bomb".

The proposal also seeks to continue the law of detaining suspects without charge, something else that protestors have taken exception to.
"Our civil liberties are being corroded by the day", said Salih. "What will this government do next? Take away our suicide vests?"

Meanwhile, London police have confirmed that a special permit for the protest was obtained by the demonstration's organisers.
