Local man meets national man
A local man was left awe-struck last night after his chance meeting
with a famous national man.
Speaking to the Daily Fortnight, Joe Flack said he
was just passing through a national bar while on business leave from
his local town when he bumped into the man, who was stumbling alone
through the bar.
"I know I recognised him, but I couldn't think from where", said Flack. "He told me he was a politician of some prominence, but by the way he was knocking those shots back I reckon he must have fallen on hard times".
This meeting marks the first time Flack has met a national man, and the experience was one he "would never forget".
"It was magic. The fella gave me his autograph and then jokingly asked me if I had any jobs going for him...at least I think he was joking".
Flack reportedly asked the man if he could arrange a meet-and-greet session with other prominent national men, to which the man replied "no".
"He said he is no longer on speaking terms with other national men after a conflict of interests while in his previous position".
