Healthcare not that universal
Extraterrestrials across the known universe have expressed their
incredulity and anger that universal healthcare is not actually
available anywhere in the universe except Earth.
Speaking from the Andromedan planet of Werkelbacker,
Alien lifeform Xcillllooo Mrelliman told the Daily Fortnight that
despite increasing galactic taxation, the Werkelbackens have yet to
implement an NHS-like-system.
"What's all this 'universal nonsense'?" Asked Mrelliman.
"My 300-year-old son is in desperate need of a head transplant, but I don't have the galactic credits to go private...it's a bloody nightmare".
Wookiees on the planet of Kashyyyk have begun a protest against the lack of a healthcare system on their planet, saying that "calling healthcare universal is simply false advertising...there's been nothing like that out here since the days of the old republic".
Meanwhile, Cardassian leader Gul Dukat is presently trying to gain support for an invasion of Earth on the pretext of "ending the planet's monopoly on healthcare".
"Earth won't need a healthcare system once we wipe them out".
