There was controversy and indifference today
when a long serving stoner admitted that he "once experimented with
politics" at university.
The shocking comments were earlier leaked by a close friend of the man's, following a stoner session last Tuesday "or something like that".
Despite claiming that he has not touched politics since University, there is still some worry among the stoner community that the man's past dealings may harm the reputation of potheads among young people.
The man's admission could not have come at a more controversial time as the weed smoking community is still reeling at allegations that several key stoners have taken undeclared donations of Marijuana and "gift" Bongs.
Meanwhile opposition within the crack smoking community
claim this so called "dabbling" in politics shows a total lack of
respect for the public by all pot smokers.
The man claims that during his second year studying History at the University of Edinburgh he was persuaded by friends to "experiment" with politics on "just a local level". However, on finding himself to be "incompetent at it", he claims not to have touched it again since.
So far no statement has been made by the leader of the stoners.
