Fatness First: Stephen Johns aims to lose another £50
An obese local man
has reportedly managed to shed a whopping
£48 in an all-day work-out at McDonalds.
On the recommendation of his fatness instructor, Stephen Johns rigorously ate his way through 22 cheeseburgers - a workout which saw his life savings drop to a slender £136.
Maintaining a "strictly unhealthy diet" has been part of Mr John's daily life ever since his girlfriend left him for another man. "I evaluated my life and realised I could either go on being depressed and eating comfort food, or I could sort my life out. I chose the simpler first option", said Mr Johns. He also said that raising awareness of obesity is vital in helping to alleviate media assumptions that obese people actually want to get in shape. "Some of us want to exercise our right to eat, but we certainly don't want to exercise physically", he said.
Mr Johns says he aims to lose another £50 over the next two days, before he turns his attention to helping others slim down their wallets.
