An extremist website designed to 'groom' potential terrorists has incorporated a carefully worded disclaimer to protect its creators from prosecution, say the Home Office. In one of her first speeches on the threat of terrorism, a frustrated Jacqui Smith admitted there is "precious little the police can do to bring these people to justice".

"Their protective disclaimer is actually annoyingly thorough, and surprisingly well written. It will be problematic to get around clauses such as 'don't take it seriously...especially you filthy police'", said Smith.

This marks the first time a terrorist organisation has taken such measures, though similar disclaimers have been employed by libel-fearing satirists. Meanwhile, the group's website is said to contain 'video logs' of extremists discussing the perks of terrorism.

However, the disclaimer does warn potential suicide bombers that "the intense nature of the job can lower your life expectancy". In addition it states that "it is the policy of all terrorist organisations not to permit sick leave to its employees".
