US Presidential hopeful John McCain has vowed to courageously mislead the American people into the next decade, should he be elected president. Concluding his speech at a rally ahead of the Florida state primary, Republican front-runner McCain declared "America is ready for change...and I am ready to instil the illusion of that change." The senator, whose bid for the White House has seen a resurgence in recent weeks, said he plans to misguide the people toward a prosperless America.
"I vow to mislead by example, and make people believe once more in the land of missed opportunity - at least in non-wealthy areas", said McCain.
Throughout his early election campaign, the senator has displayed his misleadership skills on numerous occasions by convincing delegates and supporters that he will "deliver on all of his promises". "I pledge to lower this nation's high level of employment, as well as make sure that our children are properly uneducated".
On the issue of foreign policy, the senator spoke passionately about withdrawing troops from Iraq once a timetable has been drawn up for them to enter Iran.
With McCain favourite to win the Republican vote in Florida, he is in a strong position to become the fifth Republican since Richard Nixon to mislead their way into the White House.
