The BBC said it faced "tough choices"
The BBC has cited "unavoidable cutbacks" as the reasons behind the sensational but very short write-up of the Daily Fortnight. Netizens and bloggers across the world rejoiced on Friday to learn that the hit satire sensation, Dailyfortnight.com, had received official recognition from BBC bigwigs.

The short review on BBC Comedy Shuffle was greeted with whoops and cheers from the newsroom floor of Daily Fortnight News Corporation, whose reporters had been suffering from severe exhaustion and malnutrition since December.

Fortnight editor, Proper Gandhi, said "this is a great day for the Fortnight. This will surely lift us from 15 millionth most visited site to 14th millionth. It is just unfortunate that the wave of cutbacks in the BBC has meant that this write-up did not reach its full potential".

He went on to say "We would like to extend our sympathies with BBC staff and urge them to stand up to the Corporation bosses who are trying to water down the BBC's fine output".
